Ronnie and Reggie Kray are some of the biggest names to grace the cells of Shepton Mallet prison in history.
The London gangsters enjoyed a life of crime spanning more than a decade and it was only fairly recently that the last surviving twin, Reggie, died.
The pair were eventually sent down for the murders of two rival gangsters, but not before dominating the underground crime scene and rubbing shoulders with celebrities and politicians alike.
Ronnie and Reggie had a brief stint in Somerset's Shepton Mallet prison. The gangsters served time in the prison in the early 50s for assaulting a police officer while on national service.
