Join Ghost Hunter Tours for a night of true paranormal investigation at The Old Village School in Ore — one of the most eerie and atmospheric locations in East Sussex!
From 8:00pm until 01:45, we’ll explore the dark corridors and classrooms where ghostly footsteps, chilling whispers, and unexplained shadows have been witnessed. Using professional ghost-hunting equipment and guided by experienced investigators, you’ll have the chance to uncover the secrets that linger within these historic walls.
The current building dates back to 1895 it served as a school up until the late 1970’s when it became a community center. With thousands of people passing through the walls of this location over many years there have been many reports of unexplained sightings and happenings by many people
On the site previously up until 1837 the Ore Parish Poor House was on the site, then from 1851 to the late 1800’s there was a school on the site with the present “new” school built in 1895… it is believed that part of the current building may date much older than the 1800’s
